Consultation & Workshop
Consultation
The differences between workshops and consultation services are the depth of relation with your community (such as educational system, or business). If you are looking for these services, your organization must have values for equality, diversity, and inclusion. Oftentimes, we bump into roadblocks when we are on our path to these values. This is very normal, because we are deconstructing something that is inherited in the current social system and our history. My job as a consultant is to provide ways to overcome the roadblock on the path for your organization/community.
Service Include

Assessment of your community
Facilitating difficult dialogue
Facilitating affinity groups
Assisting in action planning
Topics can Include

Creating the path to inclusivity in our system
Interracial dialogue: What happened among us?
Intraracial dialogue: Struggles behind door
Becoming Allies: Connecting self and others
Workshop
Attending workshops is another way you can find out different pats to connecting with ourselves and others. Through the content of the workshop, you will be provided ways to expand your understanding of self, others, and context. You will also have the opportunities to put those new understanding into practices in a facilitated environment. There are two main general topics of workshops I provide, mental health through cultural lens and cultural and racial justice issues.
